Steiff Baby Hathi Elephant from Disney's The Jungle Book Movie/Baby Elephant/Rudyard Kipling/Steiff Stuffed Animal/Made in Germany

He's SO sweet! This is Hathi Jr., son of Colonel Hathi and Winifred of Disney's The Jungle Book movie, produced by Steiff from 1968 - 1976, and constructed of dralon, felt, and mohair. He is just the cutest with a widemouthed smile, happy eyes, and an adorable mop of blond wavy hair. So many vintage Steiff toys appear to be in un-played with condition, but this little guy is missing his tag and ear button, which suggest he was indeed loved by a child. I just LOVE him, and hope he goes to a home where he is equally adored. Hathi Jr. measures approximately 7" tall and 9" long, trunk to tail. Made in Germany.
