Possibly dating to the 1800s or earlier, this brass tobacco box features inscriptions on top and bottom, in Dutch or German (?), and a hinged lid. Would make a lovely little trinket box for his/her treasures; it's certainly an interesting conversation piece to add to your decor, or give as a gift. It measures approximately 6.25" x 2.75" x 1.25". Country of origin unknown - handpicked in Canada.
