Vintage Sadler Gold Swirl Pattern #1700 Cream and Sugar/1930s-40s/Made in England/Hostess Gift/Floral Print

This vintage Sadler cream and sugar set would make a lovely hostess or bridal shower gift. The gold swirl patterns were produced from 1937 - 1947 as evidenced by the handwritten pattern numbers, and ribbon backstamp. Pattern 1700 features hibiscus-like flowers and broad gold bands. Measurements: creamer 3.5" tall x 5.5" wide, sugar 4" tall x 6.5" wide. Sugar bowl lid does show some crazing, not unexpected for porcelain produced in the '40s, and the creamer handle has visible wear to gold edging - please see photos for details. In otherwise excellent condtion. Made in England.
