Art Deco Era Ware Jug/Crown Devon Pottery Shape E27/Biscuitware (Bisque) Pitcher/Circa 1930s/Stokes on Trent/Water Ewer/Made in England

Very pretty Art Deco water ewer by Era Ware, from the mid to late '30s. Era Ware was decorated for Crown Devon Pottery, Stokes-on-Trent, England, until 1940. This piece is shape # E27, and features pale green foliage with pink bell flowers. The unglazed "biscuit ware", or bisque, has a matte finish and very smooth surface. It measures 11" tall x 5.5" in diameter. Note several flea bites. Made in England.
