Antique James Ellis and Son Corncob Pitcher/circa 1870 Moulded Ceramic Jug/Victorian Kitchenware/Thanksgiving Tableware/Made in England

$113.13

James Ellis and Son Pottery registered only one moulded pitcher design (in October of 1869), and this is one of the remaining examples of that jug. It measure 8" tall x 4" diameter and it just lovely! There is considerable crazing and discoloration, but this only adds to it's charm. Would make a unique addition to your Thanksgiving/autumnal table. Please take a close look at the pictures to see makers flaw on lip of spout (it's a fold or knick, UNDER the glaze), and one tiny chip on a leaf, mid height, to the right of handle. EDIT: found the slightest hairline crack - see added photo. Made in England.
